Automotive Cybersecurity and Controls
Cybersecurity is not a new term. Cybersecurity has been on the rise since the 1980s with increasing levels of sophistication and has been continually targeting more technologies. In the last few years and months especially, we have seen a significant rise in the number and types of cyberattacks occurring around the world. These attacks targeted various sectors including, but not limited to, governments, commercial institutions, private companies, smart grid installations, and automotive companies. For this reason, cybersecurity (CS) is becoming crucial for protecting the information, data, operations, confidentiality, and assets of organizations. Due to the increasing level of wireless connectivity and features of modern services, products, and devices; the risk of cyberattacks is increasing at the same rate.
